Cargo to the UK from Abuja

Cargo from Nigeria to the UK

We collect in Abuja and consolidate through Lagos before the shipment flies.

We collect cargo in Abuja for an additional charge. Your shipment travels to our Ikorodu office to be consolidated with other UK-bound cargo, then flies from Lagos.

That consolidation step is what keeps the price per kilogram down, and it is why an Abuja collection takes a little longer to depart than a Lagos one.

How it works

  1. We agree a collection time and come to your address in Abuja.
  2. Your cargo travels to our Ikorodu office in Lagos.
  3. There it is weighed, logged and consolidated with other UK-bound cargo.
  4. It flies from Lagos, clears UK customs, and is delivered to your recipient.

Worth knowing

  • Everything consolidates through Lagos

We do not fly directly from Abuja. Your cargo joins a consignment at Ikorodu, which is what keeps the price per kilogram down and why an Abuja shipment needs to start earlier than a Lagos one.

  • Give yourself more time

The journey to Lagos happens before the consignment even begins to fill. If you are working to a date, tell us at booking.

  • Ask before you pack

UK rules on food are stricter than most senders expect, and it is a long way to send something that will be refused.

What it costs

Cargo is priced per kilogram, and the rate falls as the shipment gets heavier. Tell us what you are sending and we confirm the price before anything moves.

Before you send

UK rules on what may be imported from Nigeria are stricter than most senders expect. Meat and dairy are banned outright, dried fish is allowed up to 20kg per person, and most fresh produce needs a plant health certificate.

Check your list on what you can and cannot send, or search any single item on the food cargo page.

Weight and size (optional — helps us quote accurately)
Light but bulky cargo is charged on the space it takes up, so sizes help.
