Why you cannot find a DHL price list

If you have been searching for a DHL price list for Nigeria to the UK and coming up with document-sharing sites, screenshots and social media posts, that is not you missing something. DHL prices this route through a quote tool that asks for weight, dimensions and both addresses. There is no per-kilogram table to download.

That gap is why we wrote this page. We checked 22 cargo company pages on this corridor and only three mentioned DHL at all, even though it is the price almost every sender checks first.

Why a cargo company is cheaper

DHL moves your box on its own network, on its own schedule, and you pay for that independence. A cargo company waits until there is enough UK-bound freight to make up a consignment and ships it together, which spreads the cost of the flight across every sender on it.

You are trading a few days for roughly half the cost per kilogram. For a suitcase of clothes or a carton of foodstuffs going to family, most people would rather have the money. For a contract that has to be signed on Thursday, they would not.

When DHL is the right choice

We would rather tell you this than have you find out after paying us:

If what you are sending is on that list, use DHL. We will still answer your questions if you want a second opinion on weight or on what UK customs will allow.

What neither of us can promise

No courier and no cargo company controls UK customs. Transit estimates are for the journey, not for time spent held at the border, and anyone guaranteeing a food shipment will clear is guessing. UK rules on meat, fish and dairy from outside the EU are stricter than most senders expect — see what you can and cannot send.

Common questions

How much is DHL from Nigeria to the UK?
Agents and sellers quoted roughly ₦13,000–15,000 per kilogram in September 2026, for a transit of about 2–5 days. DHL does not publish a public rate card for this route, so any figure you find online — including this one — is a quote someone was given, not an official price. Get a live quote from DHL for your exact shipment.
Why can I not find DHL's price list for Nigeria to the UK?
Because there is not one to find. DHL prices through a quote tool that asks for weight, dimensions and both addresses, rather than publishing a per-kilogram table. That is why searches for a "DHL price list Nigeria to UK PDF" mostly turn up document-sharing sites and social media posts rather than anything official.
Is DHL or a cargo company cheaper from Nigeria to the UK?
A consolidator is normally cheaper per kilogram, often by around half, because your shipment travels with other UK-bound cargo instead of on its own. DHL is faster and gives you tracking you can refresh yourself. Which is better depends entirely on what you are sending.
How many days does DHL take from Nigeria to the UK?
Around 2–5 days for express service, customs permitting. Consolidated cargo typically takes longer. Any courier's transit estimate excludes time held at customs, which nobody can guarantee.
How much is DHL per kg from Nigeria to the UK in naira?
The quotes collected in September 2026 worked out at roughly ₦13,000–15,000 per kilogram, which was about £7–£8 at the CBN rate of ₦1,786 to the pound. Exchange rates and courier prices both move.
